Genuine antique rare 17th C. oak chest with carved three panel front in arch and lozenge pattern. The top and sides with lunettes. Lid also with three panels and scratch moulded divisions. Extremely good antique condition with forged iron hinges, lock, hasp and key. Interior with trinket box. The concealed double bottom is a special feature. Legs of original length and whole coffer with original oil finish. English, William and Mary period c.1680.
